ABOUT LUCY
Lucy is a writer and illustrator from North East England who spends her days creating stories and pictures that make people feel something - whether that's joy, wonder, or the sudden urge to hug their nearest pet.
As a neurodiverse creative with ADHD, Lucy has perfected the art of having seventeen creative projects on the go at once. She's a mother of two, an animal lover, and a firm believer that the best ideas often arrive at the most inconvenient times (usually 2am or mid-run).
All of Lucy's children's books support different charities, turning every story into an opportunity to make a positive difference.
When she's not writing or illustrating, you'll find her volunteering as RNLI lifeboat crew, running along the coast, or attempting to sit very still while painting incredibly tiny Warhammer models.
Lucy writes for both children and adults because good stories don't have age limits, and neither does the need for a bit of magic in your day.
